Forward Artists
2014 – 2020
Forward Artists is a boutique talent agency representing celebrity wardrobe stylists, makeup artist, hair stylists and nail artists. I opened the agency in 2014 alongside the co-founder. I helped to establish the new company’s vision and strategic goals, nurture its industry credibility, and build out the team. From 2017 to 2020, I established and led the Style Division, dedicated to the management of red carpet and fashion stylists. In this role, I was responsible for growing my own team, developing the new division’s brand identity, pursuing new stylist and client relationships, driving revenue, and negotiating deal points for bookings and partnerships.
The Magnet Agency
2012 – 2014
Magnet is a niche talent agency based in Los Angeles, New York and London, representing costume designers, fashion stylists, and set designers. I started as an assistant to the agents in the Los Angeles office, and grew to be an agent myself. While there, I established a new division for emerging talent, negotiated and managed contracts, and developed bespoke growth strategies for the talent I represented. I also conducted sales outreach, helped to hire and onboard new agency assistants, and brainstormed up-and-coming talent, photographers, and publications to collaborate with.
Extracurriculars
2008 – Present
I've always made time for myself to explore new interests and passions.
For example, in 2008 I co-founded a fashion publication called Up Magazine. (I'm no longer involved but I'm proud to say it's still in print today). Working as editor-in-chief, in collaboration with the editorial team, I developed the magazine's concept, strategized for its future success, and fostered my 60-person staff's creativity into fashion editorials and provocative articles.
In my twenties, on an ongoing mission to challenge myself, I took up tennis, Spanish classes, and adult ballet lessons.
These days, I'm continuing to grow professionally, exploring courses in Graphic Design, Asana, and Google Analytics, while diving into newfound hobbies including cooking and training for running races.
